Class 9 - Tasting, Contrasting, and Pairing Full-Bodied Red Wines

March 2 – Full-Bodied Red Wines – taste through the different styles of full-bodied wines.  What do terms like full-bodied, fruit-forward, earthy, jammy mean?  Learn what varietals tend to make full-bodied wines, and what your preferences are.

Classes take place every Monday at 6PM - $35 per class (plus tax and gratuity)

To make a reservation, please email info@flightdc.com or call 202-864-6445 between 5pm and 10pm Monday – Saturday. Advance reservations required.

Format:  Sip on a half pour of sparkling wine while waiting for all guests to arrive. The tasting for the class includes 3 wines (half pours) paired with three bites.  The wines and food will vary each class based on the theme.

Background: The goal of the classes to become comfortable with the vast world of wine, make wine accessible and less complicated. Attendees will learn how to read a wine list and identify the types of wines they like.  These are simply structured classes meant to encourage the exploration of wines.  They will not be technical or very theoretical in nature.
